The social side of Deauville is too long and varied to describe, but amongst the regular Festivals are those of: Art Equine Days Music American Film Festival Jazz Christmas Street Theatre Convertible & Prestige Cars   Other regular attractions include international bridge tournaments (with players such as Omar Sharif), the Paris-Deauville vintage car race, and of course all the equine events for which Deauville is world renowned - polo, racing, show-jumping, bloodstock sales, etc. Also, so far unmentioned, is the nautical side of the area – marinas, harbours, fishing boats moored alongside private yachts – there is Too Much to Mention! You will have to explore the area for yourself, calling into the friendly, English-speaking Tourist Office in town to arm yourself with a wide selection of leaflets and maps on all of the above and much, much more - enjoy!
