The flat is just a few minutes' walk from the fashionable Place Morny, the bustling heart of Deauville. Five minutes walk towards the sea brings you to the wide sandy beaches (near deserted except for the central area with Deauville's famous umbrella tents) and renowned Planches - the 643 metre boardwalk. There are also tennis courts, Olympic swimming pool and riding stables, whilst a short drive takes you to several golf courses. For the less energetic, there is the world famous Casino (inspiration for Ian Fleming's "Casino Royale"). The flat comprises an entrance hall, double bedroom, sitting room with sofa bed, balcony, kitchen, bathroom and separate w.c. It is fully equipped with everything except linen, and includes a large 'fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, television and CD player-radio - even an electric herb mill! Parking at Les Cottages Normands is simple - ample space available in the road, or if you prefer, your own parking place (No. 51) in the underground car park, from where the lift will take you and your luggage or shopping to the apartment.
